It is important to highlight the fantastic seafood we have in the region. Our coast has a diversity that is unique to both Norway and the rest of the world, says restaurateur and owner Roar Hildonen at To Rom og Kjøkken in Trondheim.

Since 2005, To Rom og Kjøkken has amazed the public with first-class food and wine experiences. During the Norway Seafood Festival, which takes place on 2-4 March, the renowned restaurant will tempt you with 3-, 5- and 7-course menus where local seafood plays the main role.

Trønder seafood evening

– The Trøndelag coast is an adventure when it comes to fish and shellfish, and its not easy to find something that will beat the taste of Trønder scallops, says Hildonen.

He explains the unique flavor with low temperatures that make the scallops grow slowly.

In addition to having its own fish and seafood menu, To Rom og Kjøkken will organize a seafood evening and wine tasting during the first Norway Seafood Festival in Trondheim. Then the guests will both get to taste and learn. – We are passionate about sharing knowledge about food and drink in combination. We are looking forward to give our guests a memorable experience, says Hildonen.
