Enjoy your seafood meal at the new restaurant Akt Bar and Smugspiseri. International chefs will impress you with innovative variations of the local seafood.

At Trondheim's cultural hall Olavshallen, you will find the new Akt Bar and Smugspiseri. During the Norway Seafood Festival, you can enjoy a menu made with local ingredients and immerse yourself in cultural experiences. Norwegian seafood will of course take the spotlight on the menu.
– We are excited to offer the best seafood delicacies at the Norway Seafood Festival, says general manager Tine Hartwig Husby.
The restaurant specializes in traditional Norwegian cuisine, with chefs from some of the world’s best kitchens creating the menu.
– Our chefs are from all corners of the world. They are very enthusiastic about the Norwegian seafood and the ingredients that come from our fjords. Our kitchen offers creative twists on familiar seafood dishes, Hartweg Husby says.
Dinner and a show
Together with the cultural center Olavshallen, the restaurant offers its own tickets that include dinner and entertainment.
– Akt Bar and Smugspiseri is intimate and personal, and a perfect start to an all-nighter when you want to eat and drink before a performance in Olavshallen. Our chefs prepare a great 3-course seasonal meal, timed perfectly for you to take your glass and stroll to the hall without having to worry about going to the public bar. You can have the table for the entire evening, and if you’d like to have a drink after the show, everything is ready for you in the restaurant, Hartweg Husby says.
The ticket can be purchased for all shows at Olavshallen.
We believe that sharing cultural experiences is best enjoyed with good food and drink. This offer is something that many people appreciate. The restaurant is therefore already almost fully booked for many shows in 2024. It is of course possible to reserve a table with us without having a ticket to an event at Olavshallen, concludes Hartweg Husby.
At the Norway Seafood Festival, you can enjoy the Weber Gala at Olavshallen, stand-up comedy with radio personality Michael Andreassen, and performances by the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra & Opera.
